Erica Schwartz grew up in Seattle, WA and began dancing at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. At 16 she joined International Ballet Theatre's Professional Division where she performed corps de ballet and soloist roles in Giselle, Don Quixote, Les Sylphides and other classical ballets as well as performing in the DanceOpen festival in St. Petersburg, RU, and competing as a finalist at Tanzolymp in Berlin, DE. In 2018 Erica began training at ArtsUmbrella in Vancouver, CA, under the mentorship of Lesley Telford before joining Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's professional program (HSpro) under the direction of Alexandra Wells. There she performed works by Rena Butler, Micaela Taylor, Ryan Mason, Jonathan Alsberry, and Peter Chu, as well as learning works by Forsythe, Pite, and Naharin from Hubbard Street's repertoire. Erica has attended workshops with Rubberband, Vim Vigor, and in the Gaga method. She is currently a student at Mount Holyoke College in western Massachusetts where she has performed in works by Barbie Diewald and Jenna Riegle.
