Madelyn Sher is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and New York City native. Her choreographic work is informed by contemporary dance, butoh, house, improvisation, and theater. She has performed in works by Bebe Miller, Angie Hauser, REDi Dance Company, evan ray suzuki, Vangeline Theater, Leo Hardman-Hill, Amirov Dance Theater, and others. As an actor, Madelyn had her TV debut in ABC's "The Baker and the Beauty", which rose to popularity as the number one show on Netflix in spring 2021. Madelyn is currently based in Northampton, MA where she is pursuing an MFA in Choreography & Performance and working as a Teaching Fellow at Smith College. She received her B.A. in Dance (honors) and Philosophy (honors) at CUNY Lehman/Macaulay Honors College.
